Rare recordings
I started collecting records in 1964 when I convinced my mom to buy me a copy of The Beatles’ Second Album for $2.99 at Peoples’ Drug Store. By the time I left home I had more than a thousand records, many of which I had to shed: it’s hard moving a thousand records around. Now I have a thousand CDs and no plans to move. The recordings listed here are prized rarities from favorite artists; none are available for sale or trade.
Vintage rock'n'roll posters
I got my first rock’n’roll poster when I was seven: the Beatles looking out from the doorway of that blue brick building, advertising the 1963 London Palladium show. Next was the Rolling Stones, moody and disheveled in a basement stairway, advertising a 1966 Marquee Club gig. The Milton Glaser psychedelic Dylan silhouette was next. Those three were the start of it all. Now, I have a houseful. This is a list of some of them.
Guitars, etc.
Guitars come and go. Here are some favorites of mine.
